Overview & Description:
The Senior Manager B2B Broadband & Carrier Services is responsible for leading and growing Orange Liberia’s critical broadband and carrier revenue streams through strategic planning, market insight, and end-to-end connectivity management. The role drives value across FTTH, enterprise, and wholesale segments by ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive trends, while enabling agile, data-informed commercial and operational decisions.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Team Management:
- Build & Inspire: Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary marketing team. You are responsible for fostering a challenger mindset" within a dominant market leader.
- Performance Culture: Define clear KPIs, manage performance reviews, and ensure the team is equipped to meet the aggressive growth targets for FTTH and B2B.
- Budget Ownership: Manage the full P&L for the B2B, Home, and Carrier segments, ensuring optimal allocation of OPEX and CAPEX.
Stakeholder Orchestration (Internal/External):
- Internal Alignment: Act as the strategic bridge between Technical/Network (for FTTH/4G rollout), Sales (to ensure pipeline conversion), and Customer Experience (to ensure service excellence).
- External Relations: Manage high-level relationships with Regulators (LTA), wholesale partners, and International Roaming groups.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with technology and service vendors to ensure Orange Liberia has the best-in-class tools to compete.
Market Defense & Technology Strategy:
- Satellite Defense: Architect the commercial response to LEO satellite disruption, leveraging our local presence, 4G TDD, and FTTH assets to provide unmatched local value.
- Technology Arbitrage: Optimize the commercial mix of 4G TDD, FTTH, Satellite, and Managed Wi-Fi to maximize reach and profitability.
Wholesale, ISP & Roaming:
- Infrastructure Monetization: Drive the strategy for selling bulk capacity and IP transit to other ISPs and corporate entities, including ICT.
- Roaming Excellence: Optimize international roaming agreements (Inbound/Outbound) to maximize revenue and ensure a seamless experience for travelers.
Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering (MBA) preferred.
Experience:
- 10–12+ years in Telecoms/ICT, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership or people-management role.
- Experience leading teams through market shifts or technological transitions (e.g., 4G to Fiber migration).
- Proven ability to influence at the C-Suite level and negotiate complex, multi-million dollar contracts with external partners.
